Privacy
What this website collects, which is very little, and how to reach us about it.
Effective 10 October 2026. This policy covers the website at flinvil.com and email sent to flinvil.com addresses. Any Flinvil product will have its own privacy policy, published with that product.
Who we are
Flinvil LLC is a software company based in the United States. For the purposes of data protection law, Flinvil LLC is the controller of the data described here. Contact: support@flinvil.com.
What this site collects
The site has no accounts, no forms, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. We do not set cookies. All fonts and images are served from our own domain, so opening a page sends no request to any third party other than the host that serves the site, named below.
Like every website, delivering a page requires your browser to send a request that includes your IP address, the page requested, the time, and standard request headers such as your browser type, preferred language, and the page that linked you here, if any. That is the only data this site processes about visitors.
Who processes it
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the site and delivers the pages. It receives the request data above in order to serve the page and protect against abuse, and may keep short-term logs for security and reliability. Cloudflare's own privacy policy describes its handling of that data. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie of its own as part of its bot protection; we do not set any cookies ourselves.
- Google LLC hosts our email (Google Workspace). If you write to us, your message is stored on Google's mail servers as our processor.
We do not sell or share visitor data with anyone else, and we do not share it with the companies above for any purpose other than hosting the site and our email.
Why we process it and on what basis
Request data is processed because it is technically necessary to deliver the page and to keep the site secure, which is a legitimate interest. Email you send us is processed in order to reply to you, which is also a legitimate interest, or to take steps you have asked for.
How long we keep it
We do not keep request logs ourselves. Cloudflare's retention of its own logs is short term and governed by its policy. Email correspondence is kept for as long as it is useful to refer back to the conversation, and is deleted on request.
Where it is processed
Flinvil LLC is in the United States, and our hosting and email providers operate globally. If you visit from outside the United States, your request data and any email you send may be processed in the United States.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to our processing it, or to receive a copy of it. Because the site itself stores nothing about you, in practice this applies only to email you have sent us. Write to support@flinvil.com and we will respond. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Do Not Track
This site does not track visitors, so there is nothing for a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off. Your browsing here is the same with or without it.
Children
This website is a company information site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
